Independent Prescribing Optometry Service

Practitioners must hold an Independent Prescribing Qualification to be able to deliver this service.

The availability and requirements of these pathways will vary according to each Local Health Board and you should contact your Local Health Board or Optometric Advisor for further information.

Independent Prescribing Glaucoma Service

Practitioners must hold an Independent Prescribing Qualification as well as a Diploma in Glaucoma to be able to deliver this service.
